DEFENSIVE TRUCK TRAINING

OVERVIEW

This is a vehicle specific training course designed to increase driver awareness. The focus is on understanding and managing vehicle size and dynamics, forward planning, hazard perception and more. Load restraints (correct equipment and use) and load distribution as also included. The course starts with a short theory session (at the vehicle) followed by a practical on-road component. The applicant will be supervised by a qualified Trainer/Assessor at all times. A full written evaluation will be provided for each applicant on completion of the course.
